This past week I gave an update of our ministry with a couple of our faithful supporting churches in Georgia and South Carolina. It was great to see these churches that we have not seen in four years when we were raising our support to get to Chile.
Tomorrow I will be giving updates with two other supporting churches in Georgia and South Carolina. This coming Wednesday and next Sunday, I will be with three supporting churches in Alabama.
If your church supports us and you would like me to come and give an update of what God has done and continues to do in Chile, please call me at 678-884-7950 or simply reply to this email. As a reminder, we will be in the States until at least September before heading back to Chile.
Meanwhile, in Chile, we continue to minister virtually as if we were still there in our home sheltering-in-place. The government has not given churches or any group permission to gather. We continue with three weekly church services, Bible studies, discipleships, evangelization, teens’ meetings, men’s meetings, ladies’ meetings, Bible college classes, and training leaders all through online formats.
This week the Chilean government announced plans to slowly and gradually reopen the country over the next few months. However, there are currently no specifics of when we might be able to resume gatherings. It is looking like October at the earliest.
